Baby Buddy

Baby Buddy is your personal baby support expert who will guide you through your pregnancy and the first six months of your baby’s life. The app has been designed with parents and health professionals to help you give your baby the best start in life and support your health and well-being.

Born to Move

Born to move is an NHS app to help parents or carers with their newborn babies right up to pre-school. It's packed with advice, tips and games that you can play with your child to support their development. The idea came from Julia Haynes, a health visitor at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, who has worked extensively with health visitors, children's centre staff and local parents on its development.

Baby Check

The Lullaby Trust Baby Check contains 19 simple checks which test for different symptoms or signs of illness. Each check has a score. Go through all checks, the scores will be automatically added. The higher the score the sicker the baby is likely to be. This app has been designed to help you decide whether your baby needs a doctor. Although it is accurate most of the time, its advice cannot be guaranteed. If you are still worried about your baby, consult a doctor.

The Handi App

HANDi has been developed by the paediatric team at Musgrove Park Hospital to provide expert support to parents/carers and medical professionals looking after children with the most common childhood illnesses.

Infant Sleep

Up-to date research-based information on infant sleep, safety, and development from the Infant Sleep Info Source website (www.isisonine.org.uk). This informational app explains how and why babies sleep as they do, and explains the reasons for safe sleep guidance. Includes an interactive bed-sharing safety tool, an optional sleep diary for your baby and links to info sheets and other web-based resources. A great teaching tool for health professionals and resource for parents who want to make informed choices about topics such as co-sleeping, sleep training, and SIDS.
