Practical tips

You'll soon pick things up

Like learning any new skill, breastfeeding takes time and practice to work well. In the first few days, you and your baby will get to know each other. You'll find that close contact and holding your baby against your skin can really help with this. The more time you spend with your baby, the quicker you'll learn to understand each other's signals. And remember, it's always okay to ask for help.
